<Notice>
This is just to let you know that a decision has been made that we will not have any more Action for Life programmes as such.
Instead we will have another similar and advanced programme which will be decided later this year and we shall let you know whenever that happens.
Thanks for your patience and interest.

"Be the change you want to see in the world"
Mahatma Gandhi
Action for Life is a community of change-makers within Initiatives of Change. An intergenerational, multi-faith and multi-national community, it operates through training programmes and small mobile teams, working in partnership with local and regional IofC networks. The fifth Action for Life course ran from 1 November 2010 for five months, starting in India and with ‘action teams’ going to East Africa, South-East Asia, Eastern Europe and the Pacific. See newsletters and photo albums of their journeys.

What have I learnt in Action for Life? First, that I have a life. I am a human being, capable of loving and caring for others, not a robot invented to serve herself and a materialistic society. I learnt that my mistakes are precious because, accepted and shared with others, they can create unexpected answers. We can help each other just by opening our hearts and being honest.
